一座橋要用上幾百年，蓋得不漂亮，以後看膩了怎麼辨。未來橋梁的設計趨勢將會是越大、越長、愈經濟且愈美麗。萬里長城把人們分開，而大橋卻把人們聯結在一起。工程師的思想要打開、眼光要遠，否則一座橋一蓋數百年，等發生問題再要彌補就太晚了。
The bridge will be used for several hundred years, and it will not be attractived longer without a beautiful outlook. The future design trend of bridges will be bigger, longer, more economical, and more beautiful. The Great Wall separate the people, however the bridges connect the people. The engineers should open mind with far vision to build hundred-year bridges, otherwise it's too late to remedy the bridges upon serious problems.
